16.12 System Status
The sub-item System Status is only relevant for you if you use the Inhouse variant of E-Marketing Manager.
As the name suggests, the menu item System status provides you with all relevant information regarding the functionality of your system. Besides general information about your installation, you can view the system status e.g. for the database, job queue, imports etc. The general information also includes details of the License for Inhouse clients. If you click on the corresponding line, a pop-up with more precise data is opened. If you use the inhouse version of EMM, the disc space left on your hard drive that is not yet occupied by the log files generated by EMM is also displayed here. If less than 25% of the storage space is free, EMM automatically sends an email to your client's technical contact. If no contact person has been specified, an error message is generated in the logs. The display changes color with increasing fill level, \<75%: Green, \<90%: Yellow, >=90%: Red, and serves as an indicator for you to recognize a complete usage of the storage space at an early stage.
Note: Below the list of statuses, you have the option of stopping all running jobs if the import status is set to 'STALLING'. A Cancel all running imports button then appears below the statuses.
The status for the Database is historized for past versions in order to be able to determine how long it has been in existence in case of a problem. Here you can also see if all updates for the database have been done. Missing updates can cause bugs.
Besides the pure information, you also have the possibility to make Settings here. In the box on the right you can use the button Check for new version to see if updates are available. Use Check DB schema to verify whether the structure of the EMM database is complete. In addition, you can use Start job by description to start individual jobs, send test mails to check if the mail servers are working, and send diagnostic information to get a report. A list of all jobs can be displayed by clicking on the Show job list button. Failed test deliveries are automatically cleaned up with a cleanup job after one hour so that test deliveries are possible again. The job can also be switched off via FailedTestDeliveryCleanupJobWorker if this is not desired. You can also download the EMM log file or display the EMM log file by clicking on the button or the tab with the same name.
The retrievable files and information are primarily intended to speed up any error handling and to provide a general overview.
